Ladbrokes have best Cheltenham odds on Cue Card and Mon Parrain

Cheltenham could be seen as the official start of the National Hunt season and punters could see huge benefits by betting at certain times with Ladbrokes.

Ladbrokes are guaranteeing punters the best odds on every horse over the three days between 10am and midday in comparison to other bookmakers including Coral, Paddy Power, Bet365 and William Hill.

The three-day meeting could be a pivotal one over the course of the season and it will offer some early insight ahead of the Cheltenham Festival in March.

Some of last season’s star hurdlers appear on the biggest race of the opening day, with Ladbrokes World Hurdle runner-up Grands Crus making his debut over the larger obstacles.

However, he will not have an easy time of it with the highly-regarded Cue Card and Zaynar also in the field for the Steel Plate and Sections Novices’ Chase.

Elsewhere, Loveable old boy Garde Champetre is in cross country action and a lot of eyes will be on Crack Away Jack as he makes his debut for trainer Paul Nicholls after a breathing operation.

Day two’s big race is undoubtedly the Paddy Power Gold Cup and features an exciting field including Wishfull Thinking, The Giant Bolster and heavy favourite Mon Parrain.

Some possible 2012 Grand National entrants Chicago Grey and West End Rocker are also in action, alongside 2010 winner Don’t Push It, although he will be given a gentler start to his season over hurdles.

The Greatwood Hurdle is the standout event on day three, with Brampour out to build on his recent big victory at Ascot.

There are also entries in other races for last season’s Supreme Novices’ Hurdle winner Al Ferov and Menorah, who will want to perform better than when unseating his jockey on his chase debut last month.

With plenty of great horses and great odds, it looks like being a thrilling couple of days.
