Dan Skelton Cheltenham Festival blog: Day Four preview

Faoivoir & L’Eau Du Sud – 2.10 Cheltenham

We won the County Hurdle last year with Faivoir and he comes here again. He only ran on Saturday and was beaten by a nose which was highly frustrating. None the less he seems in good form at home, otherwise I wouldn’t be running him. I have to say that that he is obviously is in good form at the track…as long as the race doesn’t come too soon.

L’Eau Du Sud is Harry’s ride and we are confident he will put up a big show. I don’t call him a certainty or anything daft like that. However, he has improved for a good second in Newbury and he looks like the right type of horse for this. He is my best chance of the day.

Jay Jay Reilly – 5.30 Cheltenham

Jay Jay Reilly would want the rain and the ground as soft as possible. The ground was too quick the last day but when it was soft, he won the Lanzarote. He’s got a chance.
