Backing FA Cup third round underdogs can lead to big payout

The FA Cup third round is one of the highlights of the English football calendar and now there is even more reason to get excited thanks to Ladbrokes.

Ladbrokes are offering underdog backers the chance to let their original bet stand in the replay if they back a team from a lower division who manage to get a draw in their FA Cup third round tie.

There are several tempting bets to consider, including backing Tamworth to produce a huge shock and beat Everton.

The Blue Square Conference side are 20/1 to produce a massive upset and get the win and are 8/1 to force the replay.

Meanwhile, Gillingham are 4/1 to beat Stoke which may be worth looking into considering the Gills have performed well in League Two this season and have lost just one of their previous 11 games.

The 7/4 offered for League One high-fliers MK Dons to beat out-of-form Queens Park Rangers could also lead to a decent payout if they get the win and it would still leave you with a great chance of picking up if they go to a replay at Loftus Road.

Neil Warnock’s men have won just one of their previous 14 home games and crashed out of the League Cup earlier this season against Rochdale.

However, if you want to back a non-league team in the third round then Fleetwood look the team to pay attention to.

They play Championship side Blackpool and are currently second in the conference after losing just one of their previous 17 games.

If you fancy Fleetwood to cause an upset then it could also be worth backing one non-league team to qualify for the fourth round at 6/5.

There are plenty of great bets available on this brilliant weekend and a few of the special markets are highlighted below…
