Win some FA Cup money as Norwich lead 68/1 away treble

Published:

There are not too many opportunities for major upsets in the fourth round of the FA Cup this season with six all-Premier League ties in the draw, but three small shocks could take place that pays a combined 68/1.

All of the predictions are away successes, with Norwich, Sheffield Wednesday and Notts County all capable of progressing to the fifth round without the need for a replay.

Norwich to beat West Brom @ 3/1

Norwich won the same Premier League fixture earlier this month 2-1 at the Hawthorns and can repeat this success in the FA Cup.

The Canaries are regular scorers on their travels as only Manchester United have shut them out in their 11 away games, while West Brom have scored just eight times in their 11 fixtures on their own patch.

A high-scoring clash is likely, but Norwich’s better attacking philosophy can see them through, while all of the last three showdowns between the pair have been won by the away team.

Sheffield Wednesday to beat Blackpool @ 7/2

Sheffield Wednesday have already dumped Blackpool out of one domestic cup competition this season when winning a tense Carling Cup first round encounter on penalties.

The Owls have also triumphed in five of their last six away games in League One, while last season Blackpool were eliminated from the FA Cup to Southampton, who at the time were chasing promotion from the third tier of English football.

Notts County to beat Stevenage @ 11/4

Gary Smith prepares for his first game as Stevenage manager and it has already been mentioned that he is capable of leading them to promotion from League One.

Therefore, it may not be too much of a disappointment if they are knocked out of the FA Cup, which could be classed as a distraction to their league ambitions.

Stevenage have never previously made it beyond the fourth round of the FA Cup from two previous attempts and Notts County have already beaten them in League One this season.
