QPR to go against formbook and get a result off Everton

| 20.10.2012

QPR may still be waiting for their first Premier League victory of the season after they entertain Everton, but they are more than capable of edging a point that will be vital given their upcoming stretch of away fixtures.

Points are going to be hard to come by on the road in the coming weeks for Mark Hughes, with trips to Arsenal, Stoke and Manchester United on the horizon.

However, mixed in with this are home games with Reading and Southampton and a failure to win these fixtures at Loftus Road will leave Hughes surely clinging on by his fingernails to his job.

The first chance to turn Loftus Road into a fortress comes with the visit of Everton and QPR’s chances of victory have been substantially aided by the fact that Marouane Fellaini is absent through injury.

QPR have not been the best this season in dealing with high balls and so they will be relieved that the visitors will have to cope without their biggest aerial force.

It is 11/5 that QPR beat Everton and the Toffees showed at Wigan on their last Premier League away day that they can drop points at teams towards the foot of the table.

In fact, they have shared the points in five of their last nine away games and 23/10 seems a decent price that they draw again.

Punters fancying the game to go with form can get a potentially lucrative 6/5 on an Everton success, although they failed to beat QPR in either meeting last season.

If the game does go to form, Everton to win 2-0 at 10/1 stands out in the correct scoreline market.

This is because QPR have failed to score in two of their three home games thus far, while Everton have netted eight times in their four games on their travels.
