Swedish star seeking move alerts three Premier League clubs

With Swedish club Malmo close to securing their first Allsvenskan title in three years, one of their stand-out performers, Jiloan Hamad, is being circled by up to four Premier League outfits after his agent revealed the player’s desires to secure a move to England.

Swedish international midfielder Hamad is free to leave on a Bosman in January as his current deal with Malmo expires.

And it appears Fulham, Norwich and West Ham have been the first Premier League clubs to show an interest, with the player’s agent intimating a fourth has also made enquiries about the player.

“There are four clubs in England’s Premier League who are showing great interest in Jiloan,” said his agent Ferhat Cifci.

“There is also interest from clubs in Germany and France, but Jiloan’s first choice is to play in the Premier League.”

22-year old Hamad has netted 11 times for Malmo this season, who have forged a four-point gap over IFK Gothenburg in the Swedish top-flight, with just four games of their season to go.

Talks apparently already took place this summer between the player and West Ham over a potential January move and a serious lack of goals and creativity so far this season at Upton Park, could well lead the east Londoners to step up their efforts in the coming months.

The Hammers are craving some creativity as they languish in 17th in the Premier League currently, having netted just four goals in their six games to date, priced at 10/3 to be relegated and 3/1 to finish in the top half.

Meanwhile Fulham’s need could be even greater – at 21/10 to be relegated – having scored the same amount as West ham, but conceding four more.
