Masters Preview: Top three picks from the trading floor

Published:

The Masters is finally upon us and to give you the best insight around on all the action at Augusta, we’ll be joined by Ladbrokes’ Brad Barry as he gives us the view from the trading floor.

As the Masters draws closer Brad gives us his top three picks to provide some excellent value and go close in the race for the coveted Green Jacket.

Keegan Bradley – 33/1

BB says: “The world number 18 has been in good form so far this year and has a very solid all-round game.

“The American led after the first round of the Shell Houston Open before a capitulation in the second round where he went backwards rapidly.

“That will concern plenty of the Bradley supporters but he did recover to have a very good final two rounds and that leaves him in good stead for this week.

“I think he will go very well around Augusta.”

Jason Dufner – 40/1

BB says: “The USPGA champion has got the right temperament for Augusta.

“He certainly won’t be found wanting at the business end of the tournament as we saw when he won his Major at the Oak Hill Country Club at the back end of last year.

“That’s an important attribute to have going around Augusta, especially when the pressure is cranked up in the final round.”

Gary Woodland – 66/1

BB says: “Finally, Gary Woodland is my outside selection for a good week at Augusta.

“The American is an exceptionally long hitter off the tee and has shown a couple of useful bits of form here in recent years.

“An injury scuppered his tournament two years ago after he was forced to withdraw when playing very well at a course that suits his game.

“He’s been in decent form this year without getting himself into the winner’s enclosure but at a working man’s price he’s my three off the tee!”
