Scunthorpe lead the usual suspects in League Two accumulator

Ladbrokes is out to make sure it really is a Good Friday this week with a fivefold League Two accumulator featuring Chesterfield and Fleetwood.

The promotion-pushing pair are joined by league leaders Scunthorpe, second-place Rochdale and in-form Bury in a bet offering odds of just over 36/1 with the bookmakers.

Best of all, these selections are eligible for our fantastic One Out? Our Shout! offer whereby, should one of the five fail to win, we will refund your original stake as a free bet!

Scunthorpe to beat Morecambe @ 6/5

Russ Wilcox’s team stumbled to a 2-2 draw with in-form Bury last time out in the league but given their great record on the road – four wins and a single draw from their last five – the Iron should have enough to see off Morecambe.

The Shrimps are without a win in seven, losing three of their last four in League Two and could struggle against a Scunny side that put them to the sword at home this season with a 2-0 win.

Chesterfield to beat Exeter @ 4/7

The Spireites fought back from a goal down last time out against Hartlepool to claim a priceless win and with Fleetwood still in hot pursuit for automatic promotion, Paul Cook will be keen for Chesterfield to maintain their charge.

Exeter have gone three without a win in league and the Grecians have been poor away from home, winning one of their last four. Chesterfield will be confident of victory after triumphing 2-0 at St. James Park this season.

Bury to beat Plymouth @ 11/8

Plymouth’s hopes of making the play-offs appear to be fading fast, with the Pirates suffering defeat in three of their last four and things could be about to get worse against in-form Bury.

The Shakers are unbeaten in six, having won three of their last four in League Two and will be confident of seeing off a Plymouth side they beat 1-0 on their last visit to Gigg Lane.

Rochdale to beat Southend @ 10/11

Mansfield may have hammered Dale 3-0 on their own patch but now back at Spotland Keith Hill’s charges will be expected to maintain their excellent home form.

The Greater Manchester club are unbeaten in their last six at the ground and will be expected to see off a Southend side that has won just one of their last 10 on the road and lost 4-2 on their last trip to Rochdale.

Fleetwood Town to beat Cheltenham @ 7/5

The Cod Army haven’t given up on automatic promotion just yet and a trip to a Cheltenham team with just one win from their last six is the kind of game Graham Alexander’s side has to be winning.

Two wins from their last nine at home tells its own story and the Robins could be in line for another defeat against a Fleetwood team that has lost just one of their last 10.
