Polling Day Update from the Betting Markets
Published:UKIP now a very short 2/5 to top the polls in the Euros. They could get even shorter during the day.
I’ll be backing Labour if they get to 3/1 or bigger.
Amusingly, Mike Smithson managed to get an indication that turnout was going to be high at 7.07am.
EP2014: First indications as voting starts are that polling stations are busier than usual for local/Euro elections. A high turnout?

I expect we will see a lot of people making the following claim:
There are several people at my polling station as I vote => National turnout will be high => UKIP will do really well. You can back turnout to be either over or under 39% at 5/6 with Ladbrokes.
I can see the polling station from my window. Some people are going in. BUY TURNOUT. pic.twitter.com/QHTA6HWgor

Elsewhere, Theresa May has shortened up from 6/1 to 5/1 to be next Tory leader following her beating up of the Police Federation. It’s looking like we could have a “Big 4” emerging in the race to succeed Cameron; Boris, May, Osborne & Gove.
Don’t forget to vote!
