What would you do if you won the £15m Scoop6?

Published:

The increasingly life-changing Scoop6 mega-rollover jackpot was an agonizing length and a half away from being won on Saturday with the unlucky £8 punter Joe Mcguire saying he was all set to  “move to Dubai with Nicole Scherzinger” if his final selection had managed to cling on. And with the bonus fund carried over once more, next Saturday’s lucky ticket holder will be walking away with a predicted £15m. We take a look at five must do bucket list purchases that would be in your grasp if you won next week.

1. Buy four million, two hundred and eighty five thousand, seven hundred and fourteen pints (and enough change for a bag of nuts)

The unfortunate Mr.Mcguire said he sank 10 pints at his local Indian restaurant after the cruelly named Escape To Glory narrowly failed in the final leg at Thirsk but as we calculated above he could have had many more if his last selection had done the business. Please Drink Responsibly.

2. Send 150 mares to be foaled by unbeaten champion racehorse Frankel

Considering he won all 14 of his races and 10 at the very highest level it should come as no surprise that using the great Frankel’s stallion service will set you back a bit but considering all the possible prize money and future stud value the fee of £100,000 a pop could be a snip. However, there are some well worn phrases in the breeding industry about what an inexact science breeding horses is notably that a stallion rarely produces a horse as good as himself. Frankel would obviously disagree!

3. Buy Denmark and Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen

The Danish and Lilywhites playmaker has been outstanding for Tottenham in his debut season for the club and had his performances acknowledged when recently awarded the Player of The Season award. A legend in his home country, it’s difficult to know what one would actually do with the 22-year-old once purchased but he has said before he likes kids so aside from some private football coaching a spot of babysitting could justify some of the hefty price tag. An Eriksen is for life though, not just for Christmas.

4. Become a bookmaker

After joining an extremely elite group of people to have beaten the bookies the best way to keep their hands off your cash could be to cross enemy lines and join them. A well positioned pitch at Ascot would set you back around £200,000 plus a bit more for computers and a couple of clean shaven staff and you’re away. Just don’t take any bets on the Scoop6!

5. Take Michelle Keegan to Monte Carlo

Unlucky Joe said he was poised to take the ex-Pussycat Dolls star Scherzinger to Dubai so with a couple of substitutions this had to be the final option if the dream ever came true. These types of trips are always difficult to price up but a sports car, beachside apartment and a sizzling fake tan should do the trick. Money can’t buy you love though.
