Leicester lynchpin leads our trio of guaranteed goalscorers

| 03.10.2014

There’s nothing quite like a weekend dabble into the goalscorer markets, but with so many strikers to choose from it can be tough to find the right red-hot forward to back.

Luckily, we at news.ladbrokes spend many-a-minute searching for the best value frontmen in Europe and present to you, our fine readers, three that are guaranteed to bag at anytime for their clubs this weekend:

Leonardo Ulloa v Burnley @ 7/5

Leicester’s shining light has been at the forefront of their scoring activity this season, netting five times in his opening six appearances for the club, four of which have come at home.

Up against a Burnley side that just shipped four strikes to West Brom, the Argentine is surely too long to register his sixth goal of the campaign at the King Power Stadium.

Andre Pierre Gignac v Caen @ 8/5

Marseille’s 28-year-old tops Ligue 1’s scoring charts with eight net-ripplers in as many games and has played a huge part in helping L’OM to accrue the most goals in the division, by some distance.

The 17-cap international actually has five strikes in his last four outings for Marcelo Bielsa’s side.

Shinji Okazaki v Borussia Monchengladbach @ 2/1

Rounding off our trio of in-form goal getters, is Japanese international Okazaki, who has netted five times in as many outings for Bundesliga outfit, Mainz 05.

The 28-year-old perhaps has the toughest opponents to crack of our three selections, with a trip to the league’s second-placed side in store.

Monchengladbach have only conceded three goals in their six games so far, but Okazaki’s strike against Borussia Dortmund shows that the World Cup star isn’t shy of performing against the league’s elite.
