Man Utd massive bankers in enhanced Anglo-Spanish treble

Published:

From 8am on Saturday, Ladbrokes will be enhancing the treble price on Manchester United, Barcelona and Southampton all emerging victorious from their weekend tasks in the Premier League and La Liga.

What was 5/2 gets pushed out half a point to 3/1, which looks on the verge of reckless considering the trio’s current form, in contrast to their opponents.

Man Utd to beat Sunderland

In spite of their truly woeful form on the road, with second-bottom Aston Villa winning as many away games in the Premier League this term, United are just about sustaining a top-four challenge due to their impressive turns at Old Trafford under Louis van Gaal.

The Red Devils have won eight of their past nine at home in all competitions, while Sunderland’s only away victory in their last six was in the FA Cup at Fulham, so this part of the treble looks super strong.

Barcelona to beat Granada

Luis Enrique’s charges bagged their sixth away victory on the spin when seeing off Manchester City with relative ease last time out at the Etihad in the Champions League last 16.

Considering Granada have won just one of their past 15 fixtures in all competitions, and at that against fellow strugglers Elche by a sole goal at home, Lionel Messi and co would be mortified to not take maximum points from this fixture.

Southampton to beat West Brom

The south-coast springers hold a pretty spectacular record on their travels since Boxing Day, winning all five road fixtures and conceding just twice.

Indeed, only Premier League champions Manchester City have managed more away victories in the top-flight this term than Southampton.

Meanwhile, the Baggies have lost two of their past four home matches in the division.
