‘Jar Jar Toure’ nicks it to be voted your best #StarWarsFootballer

On a day where we couldn’t resist a bit of sci-fi related fun, you, the good Ladbrokes News readers, have voted for who you think would be the best #StarWarsFootballer.
Our pun crazy poll came hot on the heels of the release of a new trailer for Stars Wars II: The Force Awakens and certainly activated your mischievous grey matter.
The result of which has been to crown ‘Jar Jar Toure’ the winner after scooping 35 per cent of the vote.
BBC pundit ‘Darth Crooks’ (geddit?) came second on 29 per cent while the evergreen Jedi Sheringham was third with 18 per cent.
Cuddly Efan Ewoku and John Obi Wan Kenobi also get creditable mentions but spare a thought for poor Eirik ChewBakke who failed to get any support.
