Voters hand Mayweather narrow victory in closest poll ever

We’re not going to bother you with more hyperbole regarding the biggest fight in boxing history (OK, maybe there’s space for a little more).
Instead, we’re just going to give it you straight.
‘Pretty Boy’ Floyd Mayweather ‘TBE’ is going to defeat welterweight rival Manny Pacquiao at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas this weekend.
That’s the official line from Ladbrokes News readers although it was a pretty split decision.
Money May attracted 51 per cent of the vote in our latest poll with Filipino idol Pacquiao not far behind on 49 per cent.
The outcome is perhaps indicative of the closely fought battles taking place across the globe when the subject of who will the fight enters conversation.
Thankfully, the contentious issue will finally be settled when the two fighters step into the ring at around 4am UK time on Sunday 3 May.
Mayweather is currently the 8/15 favourite for victory with Ladbrokes while Pac Man is the 7/4 underdog.
