Celebrity Big Brother: Fatman Scoop tops list of rumoured housemates

Published:

*Celebrity Big Brother klaxon*. Yes, strap yourselves in because it’s almost time for television’s most entertaining circus to make its return to our screens.

And that inevitably leads us to ponder the selection of rumoured housemates lined-up for the latest edition.

It’s a typically mixed bag of ‘used to be famous’, ‘almost famous’ and ‘wish I was famous’ types, with most of the names mentioned on a career building (or salvaging) mission.

Ladbrokes have priced up a number of eye-catching early frontrunners.

Here’s our rundown of those currently rumoured to make an appearance in the house ahead of the launch on August 27.

Fatman Scoop

Why wouldn’t you want this guy in the house? He’ll follow a well-trodden path of US music artists with the likes of Sisqo and Coolio making the trip across the pond in the past.

This year’s show even has a USA/UK theme according to the eye design revealed by host Emma Willis on Twitter.

All together now…“Fatman Scoop, Crooklyn Clan!”

Latest odds: 10/1

Dapper Laughs

Yeah…well it’s only right he gets to share his side of the story (again), isn’t it?

Expect Dapper Laughs (aka Daniel O’Reilly) to be driving the Banter Bus if he has his way with the controversial Vine merchant sure to rile up fellow housemates with his ‘edgy humour’.

Latest odds: 7/1

Dan Osborne

It wouldn’t be right if we didn’t include at least one of the TOWIE crowd on our list. That’s why we’ve stuck two down (see below).

Bad boy Dan has the looks to get pulses racing but the type of personality that may turn some viewers off.

Latest odds: 10/1

Gemma Collins

Here she is, our second reality star to have links with the fair county of Essex.

You may remember Gemma blubbing her way out of the jungle in last year’s I’m a Celebrity but she’s promised us that she’s in it to win it this time round.

Latest odds: 16/1

Jason Gardiner

It’s not hard to fathom what television execs are after when the likes of Aussie Gardiner are rumoured to be involved.

The mouthy Dancing on Ice Judge is tailor-made for a show like CBB and wouldn’t be afraid to speak his mind should things not go his way.

Latest odds: 8/1

Bobby Davro

Jim Davidson, Keith Chegwin, Bobby Davro. It’s a logical line of thinking to follow. We love a variety TV personality and Bobby fits the bill.

Rumour has it that the actor and comedian wants more than the £75,000 offered to appear on the show.

In fairness, he should probably bite the producers’ hands-off pretty sharpish.

Latest odds: 12/1

Janice Dickinson

Well, we couldn’t leave out the favourite. The former supermodel and America’s Next Top Model judge will command big bucks but it could be worth it.

Latest odds: 6/1

Karen Danczuk

You know, the MP’s wife with a penchant for taking saucy selfies?

Danczuk is a regular feature in the reality TV rumour mill and as a self-confessed fan of attention it’s easy to see why she’s being linked with a stint on CBB.
