Big Brother odds-on to be axed after 18 years on our screens

The end could be in sight for reality TV series Big Brother, according to our latest odds.
With ratings continuing to fall, we make it just 10/11 that the Channel 5 programme is given the boot after the next regular edition of the show later this month.
That means it’s now more likely than ever that the next batch of housemates will be the last to enter the Borehamwood bungalow.
There have been 18 regular series’ of the show so far, and 19 celebrity editions.
Ex-Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas is the 1/5 favourite to emerge victorious from the current run.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Despite hitting plenty of headlines this series, it’s looking increasingly likely Big Brother’s doors will shut for the final time later this month.”
