Credit must go to the BBC’s ability to sniff out an emerging story, with the national broadcaster showcasing Salford City’s finest hour just weeks after airing the two-part documentary ‘Class of ’92: Out Of Their League’, which followed the famous five’s efforts at the club during the second half of last season.
After the Kersal-based outfit fulfilled their end of the bargain in front of the nation on Friday night, and with Aunty Beeb based around the corner in MediaCity, Salford’s televised story may only just be starting.
