Un De Sceaux is banker of the week say Cheltenham festivalgoers

Willie Mullins has got the banker of the week for the Cheltenham Festival in Un De Sceaux, according to the latest Ladbrokes poll.

Ahead of the Greatest Show on Turf the bookmaker asked its Twitter following to have their say on which of the favourites is most likely to cop over the coming days and Un De Sceaux took the plaudits, by a head.

Mullins charge took 39 per cent of the vote to see off Colin Tizzard’s heavily-backed Thistlecrack.

Alan King’s Yanworth was the other named option and while plenty expect the JP McManus-owned six year old to come good in the Neptune, the gelding could only pick up 15 per cent of the votes.

This left 11 per cent expecting the biggest banker of the week to be a nag other than those on the shortlist with Vroum Vroum Mag and Douvan chief among the chasing pack.

The famous roar will be heard shortly after 13:30 tomorrow but whether or not these NAPs will yield more cheers throughout the week remains to be seen.
