Can a group of dancing Storm Troopers win Britain’s Got Talent?

Yes, you did read the headline right. A group of seriously entertaining Star Wars inspired groovers are going to appear in Saturday’s Britain’s Got Talent final.
Boogie Storm have taken this year’s competition by, err, storm and have a very real chance of winning the competition.
Or to put that in betting terms, the dance group are lively 14/1 shots for success.
Whether they’d be the Queen’s cup of tea is up for debate but there’s little doubting the Storm Troopers’ genuine claims.
However, it would take something pretty special to topple magician Richard Jones, the long-time favourite and current 5/6 market leader.
He sailed through last night’s semi- final after performing a mind-blowing piece of trickery involving a message in a bottle and judge Amanda Holden’s autobiography.
One cool customer is set for a hefty £32,500 windfall should Richard triumph, having placed a £5,000 wager on him winning the competition at odds of 11/2, 10 days ago.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “Richard’s flying high in the betting and the other acts’ chances are vanishing as quick as his magic tricks. At this stage it’s going to take something special to not see him crowned as the winner.”

Meanwhile, tonight’s semi features another well-fancied entry in the form of Beau Dermott.
Amanda Holden’s Golden Buzzer act is looking good to make an appearance in the final while solo dance act Balance (Unity) will also appear in the fourth heat.
In fact, tonight’s show will be choc-full of participants who enjoy nothing more than a good jiggle on stage with the likes of Bollywest Fusion also set to feature.
But as we’ve already seen, it appears that head judge Simon Cowell and the voting public only have eyes for one dance sensation this year and that’s our friends from the Death Star.
