CBI chief says the UK will be worse off if leaving the EU

The head of the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) has gone on record as saying there is no credible business case for the UK to vote for Brexit.
Paul Drechsler made the impassioned claim at the Ladbrokes Brexit Business debate in Pall Mall with the business chief also stating that UK households would be somewhere between £2000 and £4000 worse off if opting to leave the European Union.
Drechsler went on to further outline his pro-Remain stance, stating that in the long-term a Britain outside of the European Union would encounter “less jobs and less opportunity.”
In a speech to assembled politicians and journalists at the Institute of Directors, the CBI chief particularly highlighted the potential plight of young people.
