Biggins is already being backed for Celebrity Big Brother glory

Published:

Elstree Studio’s cleaners have hardly had time to vacuum the stairs with the Big Brother house preparing to play host to its latest batch of celebrities from this evening.

Just two days after Jason was crowned king of the house, the celebrities are set to take over for the remainder of the summer and Christopher Biggins is already the 3/1 favourite to win the whole thing.

He’s no stranger to reality TV, having already appeared on I’m a Celebrity… Get me out of here!, winning the show back in 2007, and he could make history by being the first person to be crowned king of the jungle and the Celebrity Big Brother house.

Another of this summer’s housemates who’s also spent time in down under is 80’s icon Sam Fox, who joins the likes of Saira Khan, Ricky Norwood, Helen Lederer, James Whale and Grant Bovey under BB’s roof.

Elsewhere, a whole host of this year’s housemates fall under the category of reality TV stars from England and the United States, TOWIE’s Lewis Bloor, Geordie Shore’s Marnie Simpson and X Factor’s Katie Waissel (you know, the one who finished seventh in 2010) to name but three.

Ariana Grande’s older half-brother Frankie is also set to enter the house and is one of three American’s to participate, with Aubrey O’Day and Renee Graziano also preparing for life under Big Brother’s watch.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “Biggins is the boss when it comes to reality TV and, with the jungle already under his XXL belt, it looks like it’s a case of when and not if he wins Celebrity Big Brother as well.”

She added: “However, given the success of Geordie Shore stars in the CBB house we’re not prepared to offer a big price about Marnie completing the hat-trick.”
