CBB: Gap developing between frontrunners – bad news for Ricky

Published:

After a long old summer in the Big Brother house, the latest celebrity series draws to a close tonight. But while there are five housemates still standing, the odds are slowly suggesting that Stephen Bear is running away with it.

It’s been close at the head of the market since early-favourite Christopher Biggins was given the boot at the beginning of August, and while ex-Eastenders actor Ricky Norwood led the way for a large part of the series, Bear’s price has simply fallen and fallen week by week.

The Ex on the Beach star entered the house with a 12/1 chance of winning the series, and even drifted out to as far as 16/1 in the first week.

But from that point on he continued to win viewers and punters over, with some saying the show wouldn’t be worth watching without him in it.

And that’s the reason the London-born lad is now just 8/13 to take the crown – the shortest price anyone has been in this series to date.

Elsewhere in the market, former frontrunner Ricky’s price is slowly drifting, and he’s now 2/1 to stop Bear in his tracks.

Meanwhile, Marnie is now some way off at 10/1 to win the show, while Renee is considered to have little chance of causing an upset at 20/1.

Frankie and Aubrey may as well leave now as far as the market is concerned, as they’re both priced up at 50/1 to take the crown back to America with them.

All Odds and Markets are correct as of the date of publishing.
