How Twitter reacted as Bradley Wiggins made history once again

Sir Bradley Wiggins is now officially Britain’s greatest Olympian after the 36-year-old won Gold in the 4km pursuit in Rio, and naturally, Twitter went mad for it.
Wiggo now has eight Olympic medals – one more than Chris Hoy – and boasts five Golds in a haul which began way back at Sydney in 2000.
Alongside Ed Clancy, Owain Doull and Steven Burke, the British quartet lined up against Australia in last night’s final, and fought back to win a thrilling showpiece.
It all went down rather well on social media…

And Wiggans put both Hoy and Redgrave into the shade as GB prevailed in a nerve-wracking final…
