Pogba to have the best career of Man United’s summer signings

Paul Pogba will be the most successful signing Manchester United make this summer, as a move for the Frenchman moves nearer and nearer towards completion.

With the Juventus star having his medical at Carrington today, we asked our Twitters followers which of United’s three confirmed and one imminent signings will go on to have the best career at Old Trafford.

New boss Jose Mourinho has already welcomed Eric Bailly, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Zlatan Ibrahimovic to the red half of Manchester, but it’s Pogba who has been backed to hit greater heights.

The French international left United in a cloud of unhappiness in 2012, but in a closely-fought poll, the 23-year-old claimed 29 per cent of today’s poll.

Edged into second was that man Zlatan, who has already made his impact felt after heading the winner in Sunday’s Community Shield versus Leicester.

The big Swede claimed 26 per cent of the vote, ahead of Armenian winger Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Signed from Borussia Dortmund after a sterling season in the Bundesliga, Mkhitaryan just ousted Eric Bailly by 23 per cent to 22.

Bailly impressed on Sunday’s victory, and though he came last in today’s poll, the 22-year-old is hotly tipped to have a long career at the Theatre of Dreams.

Having joined from Villarreal, if Bailly proves to be United’s weakest signing of the summer, then the Reds are in a very strong position indeed.
