The name won’t be Hiddleston, Tom Hiddleston for Bond
Published:
Tom Hiddleston’s odds of becoming the next James Bond are decreasing by the day with Ladbrokes.
It’s not been a bad year for the actor, but that’s not been reflected in his odds, which have drifted to 12/1 from 2/5 earlier this year.
His on-off relationship with Taylor Swift saw a gradual drop in his odds of replacing Daniel Craig in the famous role, and following reports that Hiddleswift are going their separate ways the damage has already been done according to our traders.
They’ve reacted to the news by pushing out Hiddleston’s odds even further.
Elsewhere in the market Aidan Turner is 5/2 favourite to be the next 007 but he’s joined by Jack Huston and James Norton, who are both available at the same price.
And for those of you interested in any further developments between Hiddleswift, 7/4 says they work out their differences and get back together by the end of the year, while 1/2 says they are never, ever, ever getting back together.
Like, ever.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “Hiddleston’s odds of becoming Bond have been drifting like a barge since Taylor came on the scene, and unfortunately it looks like their romance has done him no favours in his quest to become the next 007.”
