Glastonbury betting closed after massive Ed Sheeran gamble

Ed Sheeran - Glastonbury

What a difference a day makes. Only yesterday we were reporting that The Stones Roses looked a shoo-in to headline at Glastonbury and now betting has been suspended on Ed Sheeran topping the bill at the festival next year.

The Suffolk singer has been the subject of a mighty gamble which has seen his odds of taking to the Pyramid stage crash into just 1/3, having been rated a 7/1 shot little over 24 hours ago.

Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “It looks like Ed’s cameo in the latest Bridget Jones film was the clue all along. Punters have piled into his odds at a rate of knots and we’re left with no option but to close the betting for the time being.”

Is this the sign that Ed has got the gig?
