Paul Pogba now just 5/2 for same Man United fate as PSG ace

Manchester United’s 4-0 humiliation at Chelsea last night has the bookies predicting an Old Trafford exodus of epic proportions.
World-record signing Paul Pogba has flopped since his arrival, and it’s just 5/2 the £89m man goes the same way as previous club-record buy Angel Di Maria and leaves after – or even during – his first season back at the club.
It’s 7/2 for Jose Mourinho to be handed his P45 by next summer or packs his bags before he’s turfed out. And odds of an icy parting between the Portuguese gaffer and United before Christmas have been cut from 20/1 to 10s.
United fans’ gloom looks set to continue, with the fallen giants taking just five points from their last six Premier League games, including a first loss to Watford since 1986 and a limp draw with Stoke City.
That means the 4/6 for the Red Devils to finish outside the top four this season looks well priced, and a third failure to qualify for the Champions League in four seasons will make the glory days of Sir Alex Ferguson feel very far away indeed.
And that could hasten another much-discussed departure, with David De Gea 7/4 to finally tire of his employers’ dismal form and head to pastures new by the end of next summer.
A Ladbrokes spokesperson said: “As we head towards Halloween, it’s looking like United’s horror show will continue at the Theatre of Screams, and their key men could be quick to try and escape.”
Man United are next in action against local rivals Manchester City in Wednesday night’s League Cup clash. It’s 6/4 for the hosts to win at Old Trafford, but if they’re beaten heavily again (it’s 75/1 for another 4-0 defeat) then Mourinho could be out on his ear.
