Emirates FA Cup Second Round: Former winners set for big clash

Published:

The Emirates FA Cup Second Round draw has been made with another mouth-watering set of ties in the offing in early December.

There are five Non-League sides who are definitely through with the potential for up to nine in total to continue their respective fairytale journeys.

Lowest-ranked side Westfields will face League One opposition in either Bury or AFC Wimbledon should they manage to successfully negotiate their Replay against Curzon Ashton.

National League outfit Maidstone United will travel to League Two Carlisle United should they get past Rochdale at the second attempt while Solihull Moors will enjoy a juicy tie at Luton Town if they can beat Yeovil Town in their Replay.

Elsewhere, Lincoln City host Oldham Athletic and Sutton United will take on either Cheltenham Town or Crewe Alexandra.

Meanwhile, the all-League One clash between two sides who’ve won eight FA Cups between them is sure to be a cracker. Bolton Wanderers will host Sheffield United at the Macron Stadium.

Blackpool v Gillingham or Brackley Town
