Bookies facing mammoth payout if Labour and Corbyn get power

| 19.05.2017

Political punters are continuing to back a shock Labour win in next month’s general election, leaving us with a potential multi-million pound pay out, according to the latest odds.

The odds of Jeremy Corbyn taking over at No.10 have been cut again to just 6/1 from 12/1 just a few days ago.

While the Tories remain strong favourites, their manifesto launch does not seem to have impressed punters.

Meanwhile, our political guru has reported “absolutely no reaction” to the May and Corbyn-less Leaders’ Debate last night, and their prediction for Liberal Democrat seats is now a new low of just 13.

Matthew Shaddick, Head of Political Betting at Ladbrokes said: “A Labour victory now looks likely to result in a significant redistribution of wealth away from our pockets to those of punters”
