Manchester United hot favourites to secure Europa League title

Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United are the odds-on favourites to win this season’s Europa League after edging past Celta Vigo to reach the final in Stockholm.

Leading 1-0 from the first leg, United increased their advantage when Marouane Fellaini nodded home before half-time in last night’s return fixture.

However, the La Liga side set-up a nervy finish when Facundo Roncaglia equalised five minutes from time, only to be dismissed along with the hosts’ Eric Bailly shortly after.

Mourinho’s men eventually scraped through though and they’re just 1/2 to win the Europa League outright.

Dutch giants Ajax will be their opponents, having only just secured their own passage to the showpiece event on May 24.

Having thrashed Lyon 4-1 in their first leg encounter, the visitors were beaten 3-1 in France and progressed courtesy of a 5-4 aggregate scoreline.

Peter Bosz’s outfit are the 6/4 outsiders in the outright market and an even bigger 3/1 to beat United in normal time when the two sides meet.

The Red Devils are currently 10/11 to win the final in 90 minutes with the draw a 9/4 shot.
