Ex-Dortmund boss Tuchel early favourite for Southampton post

Thomas Tuchel is the early favourite to become the next Southampton manager.
That’s according to our odds, which have the former Borussia Dortmund coach at the head of the betting at 6/5.
Southampton sacked Claude Puel this week, after a fairly lacklustre campaign saw them finish eighth.
After a record sixth-place finish in 2015-16, the Hampshire outfit collected 17 fewer points this term, and were only six points above 17th-place Watford at the end of the year.
Frank de Boer is second in the market at 4/1, with the Dutchman out of the job since parting ways with Inter last year.
Ryan Giggs is an 8/1 fancy for his first managerial role, while Alan Pardew has been cut from 20/1 into 10/1 to make his Premier League return.
We’re 12/1 Jaap Stam makes the step up from Championship Reading, with 16/1 on David Moyes making a swift return to management after leaving Sunderland last month.
