Hung Parliament: We go 2/1 another General Election called this year

Theresa May odds

The General Election has ended in a hung parliament – and we’ve slashed the odds on another vote being called this year.

With Theresa May set to win only 318 seats, the Conservatives remain the largest party but fell short of the 326 required for a majority.

Labour and Jeremy Corbyn look set to get 262 seats.

And the results have prompted a huge shake up in the odds.

It’s now just 2/1 we see another Election called this year.

And May’s position as Tory leader and PM hangs in the balance too.

We’re 5/6 she is out of the job by the end of 2017.

And as for who replaces her, Boris Johnson is the most likely candidate to fill the void.

BoJo had been a 100/1 shot just a few weeks ago, and one punter from Chelsea slapped a cool £1000 on the foreign secretary succeeding May.

That looks a smart bet now with Johnson into just 7/1 to be PM on July 1.
