Leicester ace’s odds of summer Arsenal move cut from 9/2 to 10/11

With Riyad Mahrez’s proposed move to Barcelona all but off-the-table, Arsenal are set to take advantage of the situation and add the Algerian to their ranks this summer.

The 26-year-old has seen his odds of a move to the Emirates this summer slashed from 9/2 to just 10/11. However, if the former Le Havre man doesn’t head to North London before the window closes, that’s likely to mean Leicester have kept onto him.

In fact, our odds-crunchers are no longer pricing up anyone other than Arsene Wenger’s men to snap up the talented winger, with previously linked clubs like Barca and Paris Saint-Germain now set to look elsewhere for their summer targets.

Despite a difficult campaign for the Foxes last term, Mahrez was still one of the club’s top performers, chalking up 10 goals and seven assists as the club reached the Quarter-Finals of the Champions League.

However, there are still doubts over whether he’ll ever recapture his form from Leicester’s title-winning campaign of 2015-16, and with a £50m price tag attached, he won’t come cheap.
