Odds slashed on sensational Sanchez/Aguero swap deal

A summer swap between Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero and Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez looks more likely than ever, according to the latest odds.
Having initially priced up a potential swap at 16/1 less than three weeks ago, those odds have since been slashed to just 7/1.
Reports in the Daily Star suggest this latest development could be more than mere transfer tittle tattle.
And as such our traders have been forced to review the likelihood of such a move actually taking place.
City boss Pep Guardiola is known to be an admirer of the Chilean forward, while club legend Aguero has come under pressure following the emergence of young pretender Gabriel Jesus.
The Star have said that ‘discussions have been held’ about Sanchez by Sky Blues officials and it appears only a matter of time before the Etihad club turn their interest into something more concrete.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Gooners have spent much of this transfer window fearing the worst as far as Alexis Sanchez’s future goes. But there could be a silver lining in the shape of Aguero, who’s shorter than ever for a shock summer move to the Emirates.”
