Tottenham chasing continental trio ahead of another title tilt

Having finished second in the Premier League last term, Tottenham Hotspur could be set to bolster their hopes of finally lifting the title next year, with Mauricio Pochettino lining up moves for a three of Europe’s hottest young talents.
First up is Borussia Dortmund centre-back Matthias Ginter. With the Spurs boss keen to add quality cover for Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld, it’s no surprise to see the 23-year-old German at the top of his wish list.
There’s 2/1 on offer for the former SC Freiburg man to head to North London this summer. Having recently established himself in the German national team, it’s clear the imposing defender has a bright future, though with 136 Bundesliga appearances under his belt, he’s also far from an untested rookie.
That means this summer would surely be the ideal time to snap up Ginter, as far as the Lilwyhites are concerned.
But he’s not the only emerging talent who could be joining up with Pochettino and co. this summer.
The Spurs boss is also believed to be very keen on 21-year-old midfielder Max Meyer, who produced a number of impressive displays for Schalke 04 last season.
There’s 4/1 on offer for the Oberhausen native to join Tottenham before the window closes – though with the player out of contract next summer, they may take the risk of trying to pick him up on a free deal in 12 months time.
Talking of 4/1 shots, that’s also the price available for former Liverpool prodigy Suso to return to Premier League football with the North London outfit.
He netted seven goals and chalked up 11 assists for current club AC Milan in 2016-17, and having played 21 first-team games for Liverpool, he already knows what English football is all about.
However, with cash-rich Milan having little need to sell players at present, he could prove difficult to prise away from the club this summer.
