We’ve suspended betting on Michael Keane joining Everton

It’s been one of the biggest transfer talking points of 2017, but now the future of Michael Keane looks to be done and dusted. At least, that’s the view of our trading team – who have suspended betting on the player joining Everton.
We were offering 1/20 earlier in the week, but have now closed the book on Keane altogether, with the deal looking likely to be confirmed in the coming days.
That will delight followers of Ronald Koeman’s side, though is likely to disappoint Manchester United and Liverpool, both of whom had been strongly linked with the player in recent months.
Keane played 39 times for Burnley last term, helping the Clarets to a 16th-placed finish in the Premier League, as they chalked up the second-best defensive record in the bottom half of the table.
As for the Toffees, they’re on the cusp of building an increasingly solid defensive unit, with highly-rated keeper Jordan Pickford having already arrived from Sunderland for £30m.
