Real Madrid winger Lucas Vazquez could be on the move, if he starts tonight’s European Super Cup match against Manchester United on the bench.

The Spanish winger reportedly told friends he will be forced to quit the Bernabeu if he doesn’t feature from the outset against Manchester United in Skopje this evening.

That has alerted Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger who is believed to be a long term admirer of the 26-year-old.

“[Vasquez is] the perfect player to get the best out of the likes of Olivier Giroud, Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez”, Wenger told Spanish media outlet Fichajes in 2016.

In 31 league games for Los Blancos last season, the 5ft 8in winger notched two goals and provided seven assists as Madrid won La Liga for the first time since 2012.

A lot depends on the future of Monaco star Kylian Mbappe.

If the French youngster heads to the Spanish capital we think that the 7/4 on offer for Vazquez to join Arsenal is a tempting shout.

Fellow Premier League title contenders Liverpool are also in the running, but again the move is complicated by Philippe Coutinho’s future at Anfield.

We go 4/1 that Merseyside is Vazquez’s next destination.

Also in the running are AS Roma.

The Stadio Olimpico club have coveted Leicester City attacker Riyad Mahrez throughout the summer, but with a move for the Algerian looking increasingly unlikely, I Giallorossi could turn to the Real Madrid winger.

Our traders have priced him up at 4/1 for a move to the Italian capital.

Rafael Benitez’s Newcastle United are outsiders for the Spaniard’s signature at 9/1.
