Shaun Williamson heads the betting for Celebrity Big Brother

| 01.08.2017

Tantrums, meltdowns, arguments and drama – Celebrity Big Brother is back.

Tonight will see a fresh set of celebrities head into the famed Big Brother house for the twentieth edition of the cult reality TV show.

We make soap star Shaun Williamson the favourite at 7/2.

Barry from Eastenders, as he’s known to you and me, featured in the East End drama from 1994 to 2004.

His stint on the show culminated with his character plunging over a cliff edge to his death.

He’ll be hoping for a more triumphant ending on CBB.

Former Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding is probably the most recognisable name of the entrants and we make her 13/2 to call the shots in the house.

Going against her is the fact that only one singer has won the reality TV series in its 16 year history.

But that was Coleen Nolan last year.

From a punting perspective the sensible money looks to be with proven reality TV stars.

Three of the last four editions have been won by members of Geordie Shore, Ex on the Beach and the Apprentice.

With that in mind the 7/1 on offer for Ex on the Beach beauty Jemma Lucy looks a steal.

Her rivals from the reality TV world include Jordan Davies at 13/2 and Paul Danan, formerly of Hollyoaks and Love Island, at 9/1.

At the other end of the betting we make psychic Derek Akorah a 40/1 shot to walk away with the crown.

We reckon you’ve got a better chance of communicating with an evil spirit on the evening commute.
