Arsenal and Everton resume their European campaigns on Thursday evening as the Europa League returns after a three-week break.

The Gunners face a tough away trip to Crvena Zvezda  while the Toffees host Lyon at Goodison Park.

Here, we take a look at the best bets from both games…

Crvena Zvezda  v Arsenal (18:00)

Arsenal have taken well to the Europa League, winning both of their opening group games.

They put three past Koln on their debut and followed that up with an impressive 4-2 away success at BATE Borisov.

It’s 3/4 that the Gunners pick up another three points, with Crvena Zvezda  available at 7/2. The draw is 23/10.

Both of the North Londoners’ matches so far have seen four goals or more. And with that in mind, we think it’s worth doubling up on Arsenal to Win and Over 3.5 Goals at 7/2.

After Saturday’s surprise defeat to Watford, Arsene Wenger is expected to ring the changes for the trip to Belgrade.

That should mean a start for Olivier Giroud, who scored in Arsenal’s last away win against BATE.

He’s 6/5 to add to his Europa League tally, or you can get him at 7/2 to open the scoring in the contest.

With changes also expected in the defensive line-up, the hosts will doubtless be confident of exposing a Gunners defence that has yet to keep a clean sheet in the competition.

However, we’re still confident of an away win. And that makes Arsenal and Both Teams to Score the one to be on at 12/5.

Everton v Lyon (20:05)

Everton are still looking for their first victory in the group stages following defeat to Atalanta and a draw against Apollon Limassol.

Against a Lyon side that are unbeaten in four, the Toffees won’t have it easy. And that makes the draw the value bet at 12/5. Everton are 31/20 for all three points, while the away win is 13/8.

If the Merseysiders are to get anything from this game, the contribution of Wayne Rooney will be key.

The Blues legend has two goals in his last four games and is priced at 13/8 to get on the scoresheet again in this one.

We don’t think that’ll be the end of the scoring, though.

Lyon’s last four games read 3-3, 1-1, 3-3 and 3-2. So it’s fair to say that they too like a goal. Both Teams to Score is available at 6/10.
