Three more British sides do battle in the Champions League on Wednesday night, with Celtic, Manchester United and Chelsea all in action.

United and Chelsea are both defending 100% records in the competition, while Celtic are locked on three points with matchweek three opponents Bayern Munich.

Here, we look at the best bets for British sides in Wednesday night’s games…

Bayern Munich v Celtic

Before the international break, Celtic may have fancied their chances against Bayern Munich. However, with the recent appointment of Jupp Heynckes for a third time at the Allianz Arena, the German giants look to be back in the groove.

A 5-0 win over Freiburg at the weekend sets Bayern up nicely for this clash, while Celtic narrowly overcame Dundee at Parkhead.

Celtic will need one of their best ever rearguard performances if they’re to prevent Bayern from winning their tenth straight UCL group game. It’s 13/10 for Under 3.5 Goals.

If the Hoops are to nick a goal they’ll be looking towards Scott Sinclair. The winger has netted 10 goals in 17 games so far this season and is 7/2 to add to his tally in Munich.

Benfica v Manchester United

After Saturday’s 0-0 draw with Liverpool, we’re expecting Manchester United to get back to winning ways in this one. They’ve won two from two in Group A so far, scoring seven goals in the process.

Given the Red Devils’ prowess in-front of goal this season, there should be no shortage of goalmouth action in this one. Manchester United to Win and Over 2.5 Goals makes appeal at 19/10.

In terms of goalscorers, Romelu Lukaku has bagged three in the Champions League and 16 in total for club and country already this season. We’ve got him at 19/20 to Score Anytime and 14/5 to Score First.

Chelsea v AS Roma

Chelsea will be looking to make use of home comforts at Stamford Bridge when they host an AS Roma side that struggle on their trips to England.

I Giallorossi have never won on English soil in the Champions League or European Cup.

And that makes the 8/13 on offer for a Chelsea win seem favourable indeed. Given the Blues’ fantastic start to the group stage, the 8/5 for Chelsea/Chelsea in the Half Time/Full-Time market is also worth a shout.

Alvaro Morata also looks set to return to the Chelsea squad, and he’s 10/11 to score Anytime during the contest.
