Everton boss Koeman shortest price yet in Prem Sack Race

Everton’s season took another blow last night as they lost a second successive home game to Lyon in the Europa League.

That result means Ronald Koeman’s odds of being the next Premier League manager to leave are now shorter than ever. It’s just 1/6 for the Toffees boss to be the next Prem manager to find himself out of work.

The Toffees have now won just twice in their last 12 games in all competitions, losing six of those. And things are unlikely to improve soon, with Arsenal and Chelsea their next two opponents.

While the Dutchman now looks highly likely to be the next managerial casualty, the next vacant managerial job could be at Turf Moor.

Highly-rated boss Sean Dyche is second-favourite to take the Leicester City job, meaning he’s 7/2 to make current club Burnley the next managerless side.

He’s followed in the betting by under-fire West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic at 7/1, while Southampton’s Mauricio Pellegrino is 10/1 to be the next man to wave goodbye.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Things just haven’t gone according to plan this season for the Toffees, and it could be curtains for Koeman if his side come unstuck against Arsenal this weekend.”

Next up for Everton is the visit of the Gunners on Sunday, with 13/5 for the Toffees to enjoy victory.

The question is, will Koeman still be in charge come kick-off?
