Sam Allardyce now odds-on favourite to become Everton manager

Sam Allardyce odds

Former Sunderland and England boss Sam Allardyce is now the odds-on favourite to take over at Everton.

The Toffees are seeking a replacement to Ronald Koeman, after sacking the Dutchman last month.

Allardyce’s odds have consistently tumbled since the market opened, and the Englishman is now 8/11 for the Goodison Park gig.

Burnley boss Sean Dyche has slipped into second in the running at 7/5.

The two men dominate the betting. Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo is next up at 10/1.

Wales coach Chris Coleman is 12/1.

Everton U23 and current caretaker David Unsworth has tumbled out of the reckoning. Once 2/1 favourite, the former left-back is now a 16/1 shot.

The Merseysiders have endured a miserable start to the season, despite making a number of big-money signings in the summer.

The Blues were knocked out of the Europa League group stage after just four games in midweek, and head into this weekend’s clash versus Watford sitting in the relegation zone.
