Aberdeen v Hibernian: Back Hibs to bag another win on the road

Hibernian betting news

Hibernian have been superb away from home. Neil Lennon’s men haven’t lost a league game on their travels since March. They’ve managed five wins and four draws this term.

They’re bidding to continue that record away to an Aberdeen side who have been in miserable form at home.

The Dons have lost three of their previous four home games, failing to score in two of those. And history suggests this will be a match with few goals.

Of the last 10 meetings, only one has seen both sides find the net. Both Teams to Score – No is an 11/10 shot.

However, if you want a really safe bet, Under 3.5 Goals at 3/10 could be just the ticket. Fifteen of the previous 16 clashes have seen three goals or less scored.

For something more ambitious, we like the look of Hibernian to Win to Nil at 4/1.

The Cabbage have been masters of winning with a shutout on their travels. Lennon’s charges have won four of their last six away games, and haven’t conceded in any of those.

As we said, this fixture tends to be a tight, low-scoring affair. Add in the fact three of Hibs’ last five games have been goalless at the interval, and First Half Correct Score looks a good call at 33/20.

One man who could make the difference in front of goal is Anthony Stokes. The 29-year-old has an excellent record against the Dons, scoring 13 times in 21 prior meetings.

He’s a 9/5 shot to Score Anytime for the Leith outfit.

In the match betting, Aberdeen are slight favourites at 6/4, with Hibernian 9/5 and 9/4 on offer for the Draw.
