The festive racing action continues on Thursday with cards at Catterick, Lingfield and Limerick.

Ladbrokes ambassador Dan Skelton has his eye on proceedings Leicester though.

The Warwickshire trainer was forced to see Wednesday’s action at Chepstow rained off, but it’s back to business in the East Midlands.

Over to you, Dan…

Bekkensfirth runs in the 13.55 at Leicester.

He ran over hurdles back in Newbury in November.

It’s horrendous ground but we should see a big improvement from Newbury.

I still feel that there is work to do to get him back to where he was.

Destrier runs in the 14.30 at Leicester, having won at the track a couple of weeks ago.

He’s a very nice horse but he’s a big baby too. It’s a much deeper race with some pretty decent horses in this.

I’d like to think he’ll be competitive but this is only his second run in a novice. We do like him but he’s got a lot on his plate really.
