Tony Bellew 7/4 outsider in May 5 rematch with David Haye

Published:

Tony Bellew will head into the ring as the outsider once again when he faces David Haye next year.

The blockbuster bout was postponed due to an injury to the Hayemaker last month.

But the rematch has now been rescheduled for May 5, 2018 and we make Haye the 4/9 favourite to exact revenge.

Bellew is 7/4 to beat Haye for a second time, but that may not be his biggest fight next year with his attention set to turn to Tyson Fury.

It’s now just 9/2 Bomber steps into the ring with the Gypsy King in 2018 although the bookies make Fury the clear 1/5 favourite to win that potential bout.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Bellew will fancy his chances against Haye but the latest odds suggest he has it all to do if he manages to face Fury in the ring next year.”
