Former MP moves from 20/1 to 3/1 in a week to win
Ann Widdecombe’s chances of winning Celebrity Big Brother have never looked better, according to traders.
The former Conservative politician has seen her odds of being crowned champ slashed from 20/1 to just 3/1 in the space of a week, making her clear second-favourite behind Courtney Act (5/6).
And it’s now just a two-horse race as far as we’re concerned, with every other celeb priced at 12/1 or bigger.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Ann entered the house as a rank outsider whose odds were rapidly drifting, but punters and viewers have taken a sudden shine to the Strictly Come Dancing star and she now looks a genuine contender for the crown.”
The former Minister of State looks like she could have a big say in who wins this year’s competition.
