Bristol De Mai is the clear favourite for Saturday’s Cotswold Chase at Cheltenham.

Nigel Twiston-Davies’ charge is 11/10 to avenge his King George VI Chase defeat by claiming victory in his first appearance of 2018.

The French-bred raider will be looking to put in a similar performance to the one which saw him hack up at Wetherby in November to claim the Charlie Hall Chase by 57l.

Coneygree is expected to be his nearest challenger at 6/1.

Mark Bradstock’s stable-star hasn’t won since 2015 but can boast three victories from four runs around Cheltenham.

He’s followed by Tea For Two who is rated a 13/2 chance.

The son of Kayf Tara was well beaten by the jolly in the Charlie Hall but reversed placings at Kempton when third behind Might Bite.

However, unlike Coneygree, Nick Williams’ raider doesn’t have great memories around Cheltenham, having been pulled up on his two previous attempts around the course.

American and The Last Samuri come next at 7/1 apiece, with Definitly Red at 9/1.

Meanwhile, in The Great Yorkshire Chase, L’Ami Serge has been cut into 5/1 from 8s.

He leads Definitly Red at 9/1 and Frodon, Warriors Tale and Long House Tall, all of whom can be backed at 10/1.
