Liverpool v Everton: Reds to win cup tie and bragging rights

This weekend’s football kicks off with a cracker as Liverpool host Everton in the FA Cup third round.

The Merseyside derby is always fiercely contested and it could be even more intense in a knockout tie.

Liverpool come into the game on the back of a 16-game unbeaten run. They’re 23/10 favourites to win here.

Home advantage could make a huge difference. Everton haven’t won on any of their last 20 visits to Anfield – a run that stretches back to 1999. They’re unlikely to end that miserable streak this time at 11/2.

The draw is 16/5.

Sam Allardyce has helped the Toffees to steady themselves after a poor start to the season.

They may be on a four-game winless run, but we think they’ll breach a vulnerable Liverpool defence in a frantic derby. Liverpool to Win and Both Teams to Score is 9/4.

Two of the last three clashes between these clubs at Anfield have both produced four goals. It’s 15/8 for Over 3.5 Goals this time round.

As for who’ll get those goals, Roberto Firmino should come back into the Liverpool team after being rested on New Year’s Day. The Brazilian is 4/1 to open the scoring.

Mohamed Salah could also continue his sensational goalscoring form. He’s evens to score Anytime.

For the blue side, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Oumar Niasse and Wayne Rooney are all 13/5 to hit the back of the net Anytime.
