Ballymore Novices’ Hurdle – 1.30

Knight In Dubai wants to go left-handed. He is behind on figures there is no question about that.

This is a decent horse though and I think he will run nicely without saying everyone should rush out and back him each-way. I think a solid race is in store.

Fred Winter Handicap Hurdle – 4.50

I run Nube Negra, Embole, and Solo Saxophone. Harry has gone for NubeNegra and I think he has an obvious chance.

He has got closer to Apple’s Shakira than anybody else has. He carries a weight that his mark suggests he should and everyone is carrying higher weights than they thought they would be because the top weight isn’t has high as usual.

The ground won’t be a problem, he’s been around the track already, and he’s improving.

He had a simple task to qualify here at Doncaster and we go here full of hope. He is our best chance of a festival winner is odds are correct.

Embole won last time out after having a wind operation and that has made the difference for him. I think he has a fair chance because he travels very strongly.

How soft we want the ground to be, I don’t know. He shows plenty of pace, and off the back of his last run, I feel like he has taken a big step forward. I can see him running a big race.

Solo Saxophone has won two and been third in a listed race when the ground was really bad, he will have a pair of blinkers on for this too.

He will stay very well and that often suits this race. I can’t put you off him either if you fancy him. I think all three will run a big race.

Dan.
