Alexander new favourite for Royal Baby name

Alexander has overtaken Arthur as the new favourite to become the Royal Baby name, according to our latest odds.
As the nation waits for Kensington Palace to announce the name of the new Prince of Cambridge, Alexander has surged to 5/2 (was 5/1).
Prince William joked his son could be called Alexander while talking to the Australian High Commissioner yesterday.
Arthur has slipped from 11/4 to 3/1.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “Alexander and Arthur are the only two names royal fans are backing at the moment, and they’re struggling to tear the two apart after William’s ‘hint’ on Wednesday.”
She added: “As for the announcement from Kensington Palace, it’s surely coming sooner, rather than later. It would be rather cruel to keep royal watchers waiting for another day to find out the name for the little Prince.”
